Installation Requirements

• Cleanliness: This component is critical to LC performance. Always work in a clean environment. Use lint-free gloves to prevent oil or particulate contamination from entering the fluid path.

• Torque Specifications: When mounting the head to the pump drive, use a calibrated torque wrench. Over-tightening can crack the ceramic piston or warp the head mounting plate, leading to leaks.

• System Flushing: Before installing the head, ensure the pump drive mechanism is clean. After installation, perform a purge cycle with a suitable solvent (like Isopropanol) to remove any trapped air before introducing the primary mobile phase.
