The 723 Speed Controls are a Woodward Governor series. There are many variations of the 723 controls, with options to fit a range of applications. The 9907-031 Digital Speed Control is one of the low voltage models (18 to 40 Vdc). A high-voltage (90 to 150 Vdc) version of this control is also available, as are high- and low-voltage versions with a torsional filter (see models 9907-032, 9907-033, and 9907-034 on our site).
The 9907-031 is intended to be used with reciprocating engines in generator set service. The two-speed signal inputs of this digital speed control support proximity switches or MPUs. It is also a DSLC Digital Synchronizer and Load Control compatible unit, offering additional load control features.
